Here is an S-scale GP-35 from American models that I showed in a previous thread. I bought it for my stack train. Problem is, Erie Lackawanna went out of business before stack trains were invented.
I don't think BNSF ever painted a GP-35 into this scheme, so I just took cues from photos of a GP38-2 in this livery.
To make this I painted first with Rustoleum Painters Touch 2 in glossy black. Then I followed up with Tamiya orange spray paint. Finally, the yellow is testor's yellow enamel from the little glass bottle. I don't have an Alps printer, so the BNSF swoosh is lacking the yellow outline in the prototypes.
I need to re-attach the horn and put the rest of the handrails on. And do the number boards. I'll post more pics later.
