Repainting a Lionel 6-12734 Passenger Station

I recently acquired a Lionel 6-12734 Passenger Station assembly kit. This is a very basic small way station ideal for a branchline railroad stop.

This plastic kit can be customized by adding an interior floor and ceiling along with interior LED lighting.  It also needs to be completely repainted using flat finish colors since the kit is molded in a shiny plastic. Also the kit does not include window glazing.

The copyright date on this kit is shown as 1990 on the box. "Greenberg's Price Guide" shows that this kit was produced between 1989 and 1995.

Note: This post is intended as information for the general reader. If others care to comment on the topic or contribute ideas to further the modeling activity it is there option to do so.

Jim, you ought to get an excavator ready to tear the thing down!  I know im going to simulate a Demo on my next one with torches cutting up the steel for scrap!
