I'm contemplating painting Atlas 4750s. Never having done painting of any kind ever with an airbrush,which I will have 2 learn to use to do a good job,I'm wondering how to take the 4750s apart to paint the ends, ladders,and fine detail.(?) I see there are screws on the underneath ends of the car bodies,but how much of the cars will be able to be painted individualy by removing these? How about the roof hatches-open the hatches & get what I can hit with them open, then close them&get the rest?
When these cars are done in China are they in kit form? Even if they are there,I'm only at current,without taking any cars apart,seeing limited access to many areas.
I guess repainting will be the most likely project as Atlas cancelled the undecorated run on the last order of 4750s I was told by another modeler.
Any help here will be much appreciated & thank yo to all contributers in advance.
