Hello, I was wondering if anyone would know the part number and where I could possibly purchase a replacement drive gear for a Lionel Bud Car 6-18506? Lionel's parts site only shows replacement truck: P/N cs-6108504150-p which is out of stock.

Check with Jeff Kane at Train Tender. He shows the complete power unit but probably has just the gear available too.

The 2328-78 pictured has a steel spur gear. While it will work, you really want the 8010-116 nylon spur gear so it doesn’t wear out the idlers which requires pulling the wheels to replace. Jeff has them and that is all you need in lieu of the entire assembly.
