There are several AF engines which I think use this gear - below are two of them.

AF Type 916-915

1932_AF_Set_Commander_907T

and

AF Type 617-614  (Both numbers per the Greenberg book on Flyer O gauge).

The ID cast into the gear on both of the locomotives shown above is  I -685 - 691 not 685/191 but yours appears to be a match.  I pulled out one of my engines and set your gear down as close as I could get it to the mounted gear. It is the same diameter and thickness, the teeth line up, and the center hole is a match for the shaft.

The next issue will be that of replacements for the drivers - for the two engines shown the drivers are diecast and they are slowly crumbling.

For you guys & gals in the know, maybe you could post a list of the A. F. engines that these gears fit.

I believe a lot of the lightweight  sheet metal boilered locos used this motor: Inclusive of Robert S Butler listing.... Champion line, 403, 417, 437, 612, 614, 617, 629, 729, 3303, 3313, 4303, 4603, un-numbered locos.  There were some streamliners that used this motor.... Minnehaha, sheet metal Hiawatha, sheet metal Zephyr, Green Diamond, and the Comet.  Phew. I am sure I missed some...
