Replacement Smoke Unit

I think I heard that MTH are out of stock on older original smoke units.

the fan motor is not hard to replace, and they should be stock.

If you have not already talked to Midge in parts, give her a call.

She can likely fix you up.

Fan motors are easy to replace, if that's all that's wrong with it, you don't need the whole smoke unit.  If you don't want to attempt the upgrade, send me an email to my profile address and I'll install a new motor for you.

FWIW, the parts site does show that smoke unit as available, but that's the expensive option.

Thanks for reply.  Can you give me a part reference for the can motor?  I think that is the only problem and feel like I replaced one years ago somehow.

Thanks so much.  Tried to get through to MTH and not practical to sit on hold at this time.  Put an order in.  Not really clear to me it went through as I got a form response.  Tried to order before in the past with out luck.  Also sent them a service form.  Will wait and see.

Many of the MTH techs, including me, stock smoke motors and probably could have gotten it to you faster and cheaper.  Next time...
