I want to replace a rectifier with a diode in my RW transformer. However, I am not quite sure how to wire it into the circuit. In the attached WD do I simply replace the rectifier with the diode or do I need to eliminate the parallel resistive circuit.
Any help would be appreciated.

A rectifier and diode are the same thing. This is a single half wave one with 2 leads. Just replace it in the same polarity. There are some posts here with pics from people who did it. Perhaps they will post. Leave all the other component.
