After many years of procrastination, I have decided to replace the damaged electro-coupler on the front of my 623. I have the replacement coupler (622-58) and centering spring (622-57). Looking at the engine, I have a few questions. 1. What is the easiest way to remove the old coupler? It looks like I can either drill it out from where the rivet is spread in the truck body or file off the top of the rivet. 2. There appears to be some sort of spacer between the top of the coupler and the body of the truck. This allows the centering spring some "wiggle room". I looked through the K-line Lionel manual but don't see a mention of this. Can anyone provide additional info? 3. I purchased a BRT2-2 1/8" tip from Carl the Rivetman to use when spreading the rivet on the new coupler. Anything I should be aware of? T
Thanks
