Does anyone have a source for Ives Decals? I have a 3236 and 3 cars (184, 185 and 186) that were rubber stamped originally. Great little SG set that someone repainted with a trowel.

If you haven't done so already, check with the parts dealers, e.g. Hennings, who sell tinplate paint for repainting what you have. If they don't have the decals, they may know someone who does.
Good luck.
Why not use rubber stamps as they were originally? Joe Mania sells them <jlmtrains.com>

I only paid $130 for the set. I don't expect to own another Ives set. I can't see spending the amount of $$$ it would require to letter it properly with stamps.
I understand the wish to avoid the cost of the necessary stamps. But I second what ron m says above. If you put a nice paint job on them, they deserve the proper stamps. Contact Joe.......
