Being a contributor to the forum for many years, after the recent loss of my wife to cancer and the loss of my daughter to Lou Gehrig’s disease, I sort of lost interest in about everything. As a result, I’ve been off the forum for few years, but I am back. I found this sweet lady who has become a permanent part of my life and has become very interested in my model train collecting and is helping me clean up and reorganize my layout and train room and has reenergized my energy to get going again. She also enjoys attending train meets. I am looking forward to getting reacquainted with all of my friends on the forum. Jim Lawson (O Gauge Jim)

Very sorry to hear about your loss, and worse a double whammy! I'm happy that you have found someone that will help you continue with your life, and as a bonus likes the model trains as well!
Welcome back, I suspect we'll see you at some train meet in the future.
Glad you were brought some good news after two tragedies. Prayers and thoughts to you.
Welcome back! So sorry to hear of the tragic events that have kept you away while happy to hear you have found reason(s) to continue a life well lived and that has rekindled interest in our hobby.
I am very sorry for your loss but very glad you have someone. I've only recently returned to the forum myself after a few year train hiatus. Interestingly, a few days ago I happened across and enjoyed reading your post "RECONDITIONING AND UPGRADING A ZW TRANSFORMER".
Jim, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your wife and daughter. I cannot imagine what that must have been like to go through. My sincerest condolences to you. I am happy you found someone to share your life with. I am sure your wife is happy you have someone and it is really awesome that she shares an interest in this hobby. I wish you all the best with your life and this hobby going forward.
Jim, welcome back but more importantly is that you have found someone that can bring happiness back into your life after such a horrible loss.
