Good Morning All

I have 2 Lionel gp38's both are the same and run very well. I want to run them one behind the other. These engines run off a conventional Lionel 110 watt transformer with a horse shoe layout. My question is, can I reverese the wires on one of the engines so one is pushing and one is pulling but they are actually going in the same direction. So both are going forward but the second engine is backwards.

Thanks, Gary

Hi Gary,

if they are using can motor will be easier just swapping the wires on the motor.

if they are PW motor type you need to swap the brush wire for the coil wire if I am remember well.

Andre.
