Hi,
There was a clip on youtube with 2101 during the Chessie Steam Specials. Do you remember the title of the video? I would like to try to obtain a copy.
Thanks

Was it something from this video?
The first video I talk about in this video catalog is "Train to Everywhere" which was about the Chessie Steam Special.
It is “Train to Everywhere”. I have an original VHS copy of this program. A true classic.
Just by chance, I was watching " queen of the fleet" yesterday. The tv doesn't have any good programs I like and the wife has bowling every Thursday evening.......so it's pop in a rr Dvd and turn the sound up for me..... btw, great 611 video Rich !
Here ya go...
Thank you
The opening to the first video neglected to mention that there was no drone footage either. <smile>

No drone stuff, but there are scenes shot from a helicopter in:
Rich I think you mean “Bridges to Buffalo” instead of “Queen of the Fleet”.
Yep...you're right. It was Bridges to Buffalo and not "Queen of the Fleet." I changed my post.
You know my Hopewell Productions product line better than I do!
I grew up watching all those programs. I have VHS copies of just about all your videos.
That was a once in a lifetime event and the 2101 actually was near me in early 1977 prior to the start of the special because it was at the former Reading roundhouse in Hellertown, PA back when the Beth Branch was intact north of Quakertown and there was regular commuter service with RDC’s and FP7 push pull. The commuter service was extended to Allentown June 1978-Aug 1979. Too bad the 2101 was damaged in a fire in a roundhouse in Kentucky in 1979 after the Special ended. It’s now at the B&O museum in Baltimore in AFT paint. You could never have a system wide steam tour like that today on CSX. Especially public excursions.
