I see Rich Yoder (RY) has three versions (arch bar, Andrews, and Bettendorf) of caboose trucks (at $38-$42  a pair, they are brass,  ka-ching!) in two rail.  While I have replaced tinplate wheelsets for scale on a variety of old O scale trucks, to get something useable, I wonder if these will take the wheelsets robbed from Weaver Bettendorfs or other, Lionel?, etc.

trucks well?  (these won't help with that darned CB&Q coach caboose kit)

No. Rich Yoder's trucks are VERY precision, and would be damaged trying to install "fast angle" Hi-Rail wheel & axle sets in them. I use his trucks just as they are, and the work well on my Atlas 3-Rail track & switches.
