Crossed channels with the 44 tonner, one of the few Rich Yoder offers in three rail.  Interesting two can drive system with chain drive trucks.  Some did not like the no plastic/glass windows.  Others complained about the two hoods being too wide to be proto-typical. With ERR lite electronics, TMCC could be added to this model.  Pictured are modified Atlas electro-couplers.

I also added sound with a small wafer speaker from Atlas models, that was used in there SW models.

I have 4 of his 2 rail engines. All run very smooth, and have plenty of detail for me. Seem pretty sturdy also, as I have never had any handrails or details fall off. I have a 45 ton, two 44 tons, and a 70 ton. Wish he would do some more small engines.

Still contemplating the RY 44-tonner on eBay. It’s still there, along with an RY 50-tonner, painted in SP grey and scarlet. Decisions, decisions...

I had bid on at Atlas SW9 in NYC livery, but when it got to $500 (more than either of the RY units), I pretty much lost interest.
