I just got lucky on the way to the grocery store to catch the Ringling Bros. Circus Train on the Shenandoah Valley line at Hollins, Va. MP H234.

Now that would be something to model!
Jim,
Thank you for posting. The Show is over and it looks like they're headed home. Probably the last time that train will run.
Wow, what a train and loved the flats with all the trucks and containers. Must be one heck of a job loading and unloading the train.
Does anyone know if Ringling Bros owns any of the cars and flat or just rents them?

Home is in Florida. This unit is headed north to Uniondale,NY, for the final Ringling Bros. show.
This train is being tracked up the Shenandoah Valley on Trainorders as I type this post. These movements have been covered extensively for the last several months.
That is a whole lot of passenger cars that will need to be disposed of. Does anyone know where they will go?

No, no one knows, as they will go up for auction.
Heard many of them already sold. To Whom I cannot say.
I hate to see the circus train pass into history. I have many memories of pulling the train as an Engineer and of supervising its passage over the Santa Fe as an official. It sort of hurts to see it all end.
I counted 60 cars total, 36 of those passenger/baggage cars. Hate to see the circus end.........
Thanks for posting the video, really enjoyed it.
