I picked up a building at York that Andre from River Leaf Models was kind enough to cut out for me. I made a mock up of the stack to get the overall feel.
If you are looking for some great kits or custom structures, give Andre a call.

Looks good, David.
Did come weathered?
Max,
No, just masonite.
Dave
So, did you put the brickwork on, Dave?
Did you use printed paper?
Max,
Andre laser cuts the brick pattern into the masonite.
Dave
David!
WOW, you spend the rest of the weekend in your cave I see.
The paint work look fantastic, I will made the window ASAP.
and design the stack.
Max,
Check my website. We are cutting and engraving using laser, so we can customize almost everything.
thank you again
Andre.
Nice work by both of YUZ GUYZ!!!!
I met Andre at York, he seems very agreeable to customizing many features of his kits, that makes them almost "custom" buildings.
John,
I'm sorry I missed you at York. I wanted to thank you for your help on my light dilemma.
Dave
I got the flooring done yesterday, complete with embedded track. I also decided on the final location on the layout.

Dave,
Just sayin', my guess is it is easier for guys to find you!
That is one of the great things about the OGR forum, many folks offering up solutions to problems. Great work by yourself and Andre. Love the floor!!
What do you get when you cross Dave and Andre? Something amazing!!!
You guys really crank out the museum quality stuff. Looking forward to seeing this one on the layout once it's done.
Andre and Dave,
That is really, really good. The capability for unique designs makes this a very exciting (and much needed) tool for model railroading
Here is a little update. I cut out the roof pieces and couldn't resist taping the logo on the big roof. I might do that as a decal for the final piece.
Dave
Dave,
That looks great, love that big old smokestack. I like the decal on the roof idea too.
Malcolm
how did you build the smokestack?
I've said it many times and I'll say it again in case someone missed it, the talent displayed on this forum is unbelievable. Great work, I like the "sign" on the roof too.
Mike
how did you build the smokestack?
Roger,
The stack is temporary. It is just cut out of foam Andre is making a nice one.
Dave
if someone ask why doenst have windows, is my fault!!
windows will be out this week.
Andre.
Andre,
I am in no hurry. There is much to do on this project!
Dave
Great job Dave as always your painting talents are to be envied.,
and you should see some of the "0" scale Brass offerings by Andre
And thanks for taking the time to post your project photo progress
it is very helpful to me and i am sure others learn from them also.
Nice modeling !! I think Vesuvius Crucible was in Zelienople, too. The B&LE engine is artistic license but that is OK.
Really nice building and I like the floor
I like the turtle creek railroad engine. Railroad is All gone now! I just walked the corridor the other day. There is a caboose. In export though! Rail trail coming next year!
Looks great! I really like the doors.
Don

Dave/Andre,
Great model. The look is awesome.

Thanks for the nice comments!
Nice job Dave and Andre. Dave, I'm interested in the stack that Andre's building. I need one for my distillery and another for a big engine house that's one the drawing board.

Andre
