I have just received my new Amtrak Streamliner sets from RMT. Set 1 consists of Baggage and Coach cars, and Set 2 consists of Dome and Observation cars. I have not yet installed the diaphragms, but I think they still look wonderful. Hats off to Walter and his crew. They are well worth the wait. I am not the best photographer, but here they are on my Christmas window layout.

Are these Streamliners manufactured from the former K-Line Streamline molds and tooling ?
Yes they are, but they were updated in 1996 and new lighting and details
were added.
Currently available to order on RMT website along with ALASKA, NY CENTRAL, PRR, B&O, TEX SPL, SANTA FE and NORFOLK SOUTHERN.

juniata guy...NYC passenger cars are STO items. Only bring in whatever cars are ordered. If you have already ordered, the first batch is here and being shipped with another 3 container shipments coming in. Each has NYC cars.
If you have not ordered yet, you need to do this soon.

Walter, do you require payment with an order? And if so, does the fact you only produce what is ordered mean that one pays and then waits for the item to be made and shipped to you for shipment to the customer? Thank you.

When I saw the pre production cars at York I was very impressed with the quality of the paint and graphics. First rate. The diaphrams and interiors are icing on the cake.

Chris Dunn...STO means Ship-To-Order. RMT will only bring into USA product that is ordered by customer. Product is already made at factory. Order online now and your product ships on next available container for expected 4-6 week arrival.
This is only way RMT accepts orders at this time for items on STO program.
Containers leave factory about every 2 weeks.

I got the Texas Special set a while back when it was on a big sale. Lighting is incandescent.
