Thank you for any help.

Thanks Thomas - had forgotten about the CP and Rio Grande. Two of the finest!
Randy, I bet one of your goals is to have all of those postwar F3s in your collection. Arnold

Actually, I have an A-B-A set of the original Santa Fe warbonnets from the late 1940's. I mainly focus on road names of the middle to northeastern area of the U. S. Also, I am more of a steam junky than Diesel. I was looking for other shells so I could dress my Santa Fes as either New York Central or PRR if the spirit moved me. As a collector, the Santa Fes are good to have because it was one of the original postwar, top-end, Lionel engines. The warbonnet is a truly iconic livery.
I am probably more interested in operation than collecting. The postwar Lionel engines I have are a 736 Berkshire, The Santa Fes, a 746 Norfolk and Western J Class, A Hudson (not scale) and a PRR S-2 steam turbine.
For operation (though I do run the postwar Lionels occasionally) are mainly MTH steam locomotives with a few Weaver and K-Line steam engines that have been converted to MTH Proto Sound 3. I also have two modern, TMCC equipped, Lionel steam engines. We have connected the Lionel TMCC base through the MTH TIU so we can seamlessly run TMCC engines on the DCS handsets.
Also, I love your photos and videos of your layout. Being a life-long Yankee fan, I love your Yankee Stadium with Don Larsen on the mound pitching his perfect World Series game. I also like the Polo Grounds with Willie Mays in center field. New York had such a rich Baseball history. I remember a photograph from a Mickey Mantel biography I read. It was a shot of Willies Mays, Joe Dimaggio, Mickey Mantle and Duke Snyder posing, in uniform, at an old-timers event. Mickey's caption for the photo read as follows, "Here is the greatest center fielder that ever lived with 3 other guys. You decide who is who".
The pw f3's power unit numbers that start w/ a 22xx have single motors, the power unit numbers that start w/ 23xx have dual motors.
