I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm looking for someone to take some photos for me or to share some they might already have of the old Carroll Park and Western Railroad Climax locomotive that is at the Roaring Camp & Big Trees Railroad in California. I need the photos for a book I am writing about the Carroll Park and Western Railroad to use in the section about where the surviving CP&W equipment is today. Unfortunately I live in Berwick, Pa and a trip to California is not possible. I can just here my wife now when I ask her, "Hun can we go to California to get some photos of a train?" Please feel free to contact me for more information.

Did you try a Google search? Also, I'm sure that there are lots of photos on those Railroad Picture sites too.
Yeah, a lot come up when searching google. It's just trying to track down the photographer and getting a good Hi-Res copy and permission to us the photo in the book. That's why I thought I'd check here and see if anyone is close to there or has been there that can help me out.
Is this the one normally running there?
All I have are of the Shay
It's the one that sits in the back lot in pieces. The boiler has been removed so all you really see is the cab and tender.
Here's a link to the only pictures I could find of the climax at Roaring Camp.

I have been a stockholder at Roaring Camp since the 60s.
