Who is a CRI&P fan and knowledgable on their cabooses?  As one of the prairie roads that ran into eastern Colorado, I

expected them to have the exotic array of different cabooses the MoPac and CB&Q had, but only have scared up a couple

of interesting styles in photos, a side door built from outside braced boxcars, and a tranfer caboose with OB "cabin" on it.  I have searched the RITS list (Rock Island Tech. Soc.) and that is what I have come up with, as well as other net searches.  (I have no interest in more modern, later cabooses, and the RI had a lot of those which are on line in photos)  The RI had a variety of gas electrics, as did other roads that had the early caboose variety, so I expected more.  RITS does not list a book on cabooses as exists for the MoPac and CB&Q.
