I have built a rock quarry on my layout. I was wondering if anyone new where I might pick up a processing plant for the quarry. also I am looking for signals ( dwarf, crossing, and overhead). any help would be much appreciated.

I custom make things like that. I have a customer take pictures of what they want, and I build it. I do not know if there is anything commercialy available.

First off, what kind of products does your quarry produce? Crushed Stone? Building blocks?. I'll get back to you.
I was thinking a plant that processes the raw material. I pictured incorporating a conveyor belt to load train cars with the gravel or something like that. lots of heavy machinery around the quarry. probably some silos and an office. that's just what I see in my head. I will try to get some pics
On the CBS Railroad we ship out cement blocks from this company. The rock is from the quarry to the left of the plant and cement, sand and some rock is shipped in by rail. The conveyor belt from the rock pit to the sand/rock tower is not in place in the first two pictures it's been removed for repair. Ihope this helps.

If you go to www.walthers.com there are HO items you can view that are related. The Glasure Rock & Gravel Co. may be what you are looking for. They also sell the enclosed conveyors #3518 that can be used with O gauge. Both Lionel and MTH sell operating accesories for coal handling that could be used for a rock processing plant. Norcross and others make 1:50 loaders and vehicles that may be appropriate... check out www.diecastdirect.com .
