Hello to all:

I have a problem with a Ross switch, here we go.  It is a 072 curved switch.  It is wired correctly, the red light indicators illuminated BUT when I attempt to throw the switch, green indicators do not illuminate and the switch does not throw.  If I hand throw the switch to the green position, indicators do not illuminate both on the switch and the control button (Ross), press the red button and the switch throws and the red indicators illuminate.  Now the less were moved so they would indicate the direction of the switch.  I had to move the Z1000 switch machine from the right hand side to the left hand side due to track configuration.  I need some input on this, the concrete floor is starting the a toll on my skull. (LOL)

Melvin,

Do yourself a BIG favor - make a DZ1000 Test Assembly.  See attached photo.  I test all ross switches, DZ-1000's and miniature dwarf signals i make on this assembly.  I do not use the DZ1002, push buttons.  I use momentary toggle switches. You can also see a DZ1008 relay for the dwarf signals. This way you can test the "system" prior to installation and save many hours of frustrating trouble shooting.

Tom I agree. This is not a Ross Switch problem but a Z-1000 problem. I used those machines before and while they worked ok I didn't personally like the look on my scale layout. I went back to under table machines. Those old/new machines are bullet proof and the look or I should say non-look on the layout is great. Also they have electrical connections for signals.
