Ok so here is the question, have any of you mated these 2 products up? I know many have Gargraves/Ross or Atlas/Ross but I didn't see anything in doing a search here on this particular match up. I am building my boys a layout of there own in the basement and I have a bunch of Scaletrax. Thanks in advance for the information everyone.

Pretty sure others here have posted that you can join them by shimming. Sorry, but I don't recall the method. I think either Dave or Ted Hikel has posted info on this also. Maybe they will be along with better info, or maybe try searching their posts.
Yeah I'll try searching their posts and see what I find. Thanks.
Mike Wolfe had mentioned that you shim up the ScaleTrax and butt it up against the Ross turnouts, If everything is aligned and anchored it should work. You'd have to put feed drops on the turnout as well as the track.
Ted Hikel took the approach of hand-laying one-off turnouts using Ross templates, shaved-down Ross frugs and scale ties with ScaleTrax rail.
I thought that someone had posted awhile back that if you use O scale cork roadbed under your Scaletrax, use HO Cork roadbed under the Ross switches and they mate up just fine.
Either way, others have done it with no issues.

Thanks Matt for the info...now the handlaying idea isn't bad at all. Lord knows I have that process down from my own layout...
Thank you as well David.
I only did a test on the table.
Std Woodland Scenics 5mm foam under the Scaletrax and 2mm cork sheet under the Ross switch made the rails line up perfect.
The Ross rails are the same shape as the Scaletrax rails, just a bit bigger.
The end result looks good.
Hey thanks Russell, I'll give it a try.
