After divesting myself of much of my collection, I counted up my locomotives today. I now have 22 remaining, a nic e mixture of Lionel, Williams, MTH and a couple of older K-Lines.

The passenger cars and freight cars have also be significantly reduced. I do no have an accurate count, but I would put it at 120 to 150 remaining.

The online auction, hosted by Ambrose-Bauer will be this Sunday beginning at 6:00 PM. Early results show that everything I took to Drew Bauer will be sold. Thus far, the numbers are low, but, hopefully the action online will be hot and heavy. At any rate, my hopeful goal would be to recoup enough cash to pay for my latest acquisitions.

There are 430 lots in the auction, and 10% were mine.

Thanks for posting.  Nothing for me in this auction, but always good to learn about another reputable auction house

Yeah, this auction is filled with entry level stuff.  Unfortunately, for those of us selling, the audience is not as plentiful as we would like it to be.  Most folks who roam here-abouts are not interested in this type of equipment.  I am not lamenting, I chose my equipment with the full knowledge that it would be worth very little when I decided to dispose of it.  As Doris Day used to sing, que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be.
