I have a nice rotary coal dumper. I purchased the lionel rotary dump coal cars but they have a tendency to tip the car that they are attached to during the dump cycle. Can I lubricate the rotary part of the coupler? Should I use graphite or a light oil like a Labelle 107? My fear with the oil is that some of the dust from the coal will clog the rotary mechanism. Would just actuating the rotary coupler multiple times be enough to break it in instead of lubrication?
Thanks
