I have been eyeing this thread since you posted it.  I see no one has responded to you yet.  I have been waiting to respond because I am out of town and unable to test it for myself.  I will be home later this afternoon and I will test it then and respond.  I have four single digit routes and had no problem creating them.  I don't remember how I did it.  Have you tried keying in 02 for example instead of just 2?  Also, you might want to try creating the routes using the Legacy System Utility if you have that ability.

I believe there is a setting in the CTC menu that allows you do do either single or double digit routes.  Unfortunately the manual for 1.5x doesn't show this.  Check there and see if that menu option is still there.  I don't have my system in front of me to check.  The 1.5 manual does refer to the menu item in the "route" section on page 78 in the 3rd bullet point.

Hooked up LSU V2. Go to Edit Route dialog box. Enter switch ID# 1 jumps to switch ID

10. Enter switch ID# 01 jumps to switch ID# 010. Looks like Lionel eliminated the one digit route along the way. Page 26 4. enter TMCC ID of the switch you wish to add. Is 1-9 for TMCC? Legacy should have 1-99 but can not get to work.

Marty;

The one digit routes are still available. I recently started setting up my six track yard, and I was able to set RTE's 1 and 6. Haven't had time to do the others yet, but it is my intention to use the single digits as sub-routes and then add some additional switches, making two digit routes.
