Anybody know of a maker of these (paper?) filters on these N&W RS3s, it's the 3 just forward of the stack, the 2 forward of the cab, and the 1 on the short hood:

If you are going to do a correct N&W RS3, there is no available model that even comes close to the unique cab configuration. The N&W cab was longer than the standard cab and the short hood has flat door hatches on the short hood. Besides every RS3 model that has ever been released is incorrect.

Bob,
You might get this guy to make some in O scale. He does 3D printed details.

I would not know an RS filter if I fell over it. Granted there has never been an accurate RS-3 - somebody name an O Scale model that was/is accurate?
I kinda like my Kemtrons, even though they are stuck on a shelf somewhere. They resemble the real thing is a lot of ways.
Here's a photo I found that the author says shows the differences in the 3 phases of the RS3 carbody:
If these are accurate the square filters I'm after aren't louvers like the others.
This is a drawing out of the old Mainline Modeler April 1986 issue, it shows the filters location as different on each side:
The pattern almost looks like diamond tread instead of something like chicken wire, still haven't found the correct look yet. The filter doors are also one large door replacing the two smaller doors.
the DL&W also had RS3 with those filters. I have a Weaver RS3 body modified by Matt Forsyth with the filters, made from styrene for the frame and a brass mesh insert. the OEM louvres were scraped off.
I'd post a pix, but the model is buried deep.

Yes, the strange conundrum of O scale.
Another F unit every day but never an accurate RS2/3.
Just bought a Weaver N&W RS3 and looking for detail parts to add. What type of horn did the N&W RS3’s use when they were delivered in October 1955?

Can't get to 100%. If you set the bar high enough then you have no models at all.

I generally agree with you, but some say the Car and Locomotive Shop 4-10-2 ala Southern Pacific was right on. Good for those that do SP I suppose.
