I’ve seen on this forum that you can run MTH engines on Lionel Fastrack layouts.
My problem I’m having is when I try run either of my MTH PS3 GP38 engines, either it won’t turn on or it will startup and I can control it until it reaches a Fastrack switch then it’s not responding until it reaches the section of track that is powering that loop.
I just want to be able to control the basic functions of the MTH PS3 engines no matter where the locotmotive is on the layout. I’ve got no issues with my Legacy engines.
My setup I use for communication is the MTH DCS Remote Commander 50-1033 along with a Lionel CAB1L Remote and Base. My track gets power from 2x Lionel CW80 paired. I use a junction block for my track power that includes the connections for my CAB1L and the MTH DCS receiver (I just want everything clean and labeled)
