Have you ever deliberately combined different manufacturers' smoke fluids to make an "ultimate" smoke fluid?

MTH Christmas scent all year long. I do use the JT's Eliminator once in a while so I guess it gets mixed up a little then, but no intentional mixing.

Combination SP smoke pellets, MTH fluid, Bart's Pneumatic fluid, Lionel 909, and the JT flavor of the day. Basically. whatever is handy... I really like the Crest fluid too.

The only mixing I do is Megasteam's NADA and what flavor I feel like. I keep the scent more toned down by doing 20 drops of NADA to 3 drops of the scent I choose. 

Do you use a precise mixture receipe?  

Staying within one brand yes, but by "necessity". A plastic bottle cracked. Grape in vanilla. Ehh its OK.

Mixing brands?

I never got one of these as a kid for the same reason. Too risky

MIX IN THE BOTTLE, NO BUT WILL USE MOSTLY JT MEGASTEAM AND MTH SI THE MIXING WILL OCCUR IN THE ENGINE SO FAR NO ISSUES

This may be heresy to some, but I cut the major manufacturer's smoke fluid 50% with inexpensive baby oil. I also run straight baby oil which is mineral oil, and have been dong this for years without ill effects.

There is no need to concoct a super smoke fluid for MTH PS2 & PS3 engines because you can control the amount of smoke production. At the max smoke setting, MTH engines are great fogging machines.

No.  I figure it is like randomly mixing paints.  You are more likely to get the fliud from hell rather than the ultimate smoke fluid.

No, I like Mega-Steam products that I regard as the best on the market. I would not mix scents either.

Unscented Baby oil in my smoke fluid? What will I oil my wood floors with?

I've tried it before, alone and didn't like the odor, but it may have been the brand.

I also kept a good eye in the mixed fluid. Like a guard dog for about 6-7 hours then tapering off.

After about a week, I figured out I wouldn't I wouldn't need to use the stairs.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but wouldn't the manufacturers have made these fluids to work to their best ability already?
