Running Tin At The Big Train Show | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

The Big Train Show was in Ontario CA this past weekend. The TTOS gang asked me if I would take care of setting up some tinplate. Pulled some stuff off the layout and from under the layout and put down a 8x10 tinplate layout with 2 std & 2 O loops.

Very nice, indeed! Great job, I especially like the vintage stuff - and the Wienermobile, of course! What do you call the other little fella? I saw one on Colorado that was called the "Galloping Goose." Did you build that one too?

The front end of my "goose" is a cheap China knock off of a Paya gas truck and the back is part of a Marx Santa Fe caboose. Lights and power chassis came from a K-Line speeder.

I think about the same. The kids get a kick out of the "hot dog train", the grown ups like it for the memories.
