Running two of the same LionChief locos together?

My Lionchief Plus RS-3 will pull more cars than I can use, beyond about 15 it pulls the cars off the O-36 curves. Can't imagine any problem at all with 10 cars, not with slippage, at least.

PLCProf, it is a LionChief.  

I purchased the GP38 from a set breakup on eBay from one of the sellers that breaks up RTR sets and sells the units separately.

They would both respond to the one controller so I don't see any issues with doing that.

As Jim1939 says, this will work.  it will be like you created a lashup in TMCC without having to create a lashup

Just turn the sound down in one, as you mentioned, couple them together (both facing in their natural forward direction) and one remote will control them.

The previous posters are correct. You can run both LionChief GP-38s from the same handheld. I have done this several times with various LionChief diesels, as long as they are the same engine with the same road number. It is fun, because in effect, you have a "built-in" lash up, since both engines respond identically to the same controller.
