Sorry to be a pest, but I am away from my books. I have a couple of engines that will only run in DCS. I know there is a way to unlock them so they run conventional, but I do not have my book with me. Could use some quick help.

Turn the DCS off. With no signal on the track they will start up with power applied to track.

Like Isaid I don't know DCS do you have it with you maybe do a reset will help I know I have had to that to TMCC engines before
I have seen this problem before Steve, unfortunately the problem was in the PS-2 board in all cases. Might have to send boards to GGG and see if he can repair if you want to run in conventional.
Steve, what do the engines do when you power them up? Do you get any sound? Can you try a different transformer? Have they worked in conventional previously?

Is the battery fully charged, and you can do 1W and 5B for a feature reset and 1W and 3B to unlock. That assumes it is locked in the first place. G
