Condolences to family friends and the Club.
I too met Ed at a Trainstock event. He went out of his way to help me when he saw I had an engine to run. He opened up the layout to me and made us feel at home.
When a guy is genuine and understands, having him around can make it more than just a layout in a building. Very sad.
Another great loss to the model railroading community. He was an excellent ambassador to the hobby and a great friend to all, this was a man that truly just loved playing with trains. Take care until we meet again buddy.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Hirailers are a great club and every member contributed a great deal to the beauty of the layout. I didn't know Mr. Zarelli but I know his passing will be a great loss to the club.

My paryers go out for Ed and all of the Zarelli family and friends. This sort of news is always heart rendering but when it happens to a great group like the NJHR's it really starts to hit home.
What a tribute to his life when so many will sorely miss him. Our condolences to his family.
I think I may have spoken to him once or twice during one of your Open Houses. Very sorry to hear the news. I offer my condolences to both you at the Hi_Railers, as well as to his family.

We were close friends when I was in the club, always had a helping hand building the additions to club layout. I last saw him when I came back for this year's Trainstock. Very sad news, my condolences to his entire family and friends.
