I was given this 3-piece set (ABA) by my father-in-law---it hasn't been on a track since the 60's. I had it stored with a few other pieces until recently when I put together a couple of modular boards in my basement. It runs like the noisy heavyweight that it was built to be---here's my question-----I removed the body to lubricate and change brushes and general inspection. The Greenberg repair manual I have states that the motor brush is part #2020m-33 and spring is #2020m-34, but the motor brushes that were installed were #622-121 with no spring. The motor appears to be #2333m-1 but has a different brush plate. I know my father-in-law didn't change anything and never removed body I guess I'm wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar. The engine is running better since I changed the brushes---less voltage than before and a little quieter but still a beast Greg
