I think I saw a couple rivets missing on the sleigh....

If you run it in reverse would it be considered a

"Sleigh Forward" configuration ?

This project was twenty years in the making (not a record for me another project took over fifty years). The sleigh and the reindeer were purchased from a craft store twenty years ago and a small Marx motor was installed in the sleigh at that time. The motor is from a cheap plastic marx engine and did not come with a reversing unit. The reindeer were just completed this year. The undercarriage is all Marx. The reindeer cars are made from cutdown Marx 6 inch frames. Two weights were added, one on the axle and one near the rear of the car to help it to stay coupled.

My grand daughters have already told me that I need a ninth reindeer in front with a red nose so this project is not completed yet. Its a good thing that I purchased ten reindeer twenty years ago.

I just found the Santa this year and I did not have to perform any amputations that is just the way he came.
