Last week ,  O gauge forum member Lou ( the guy who built the house behind his house for the train mancave)fell off the 2nd step of a ladder and shattered his ankle and leg below the knee. He couldnt make it, as well as Vince P and Norm R and Pine Creek Dave. Say a prayer for Lou and Vince to feel better.

Here are some pics  that you asked to post  so you could view in your hospital bed on your Ipad.  (my wife luckily came down for a few minutes and took from last night)

It was a good time.  By the way we had a doctor in the house in case anyone fell 2 ft .

Hey, Patrick –

Great pictures of your appreciative guests and your wonderful layout. A couple of the pictures, where the locomotive smoke obscured the people behind it, looked like movie special effects!

By the looks of these pictures, it appears that you are almost done with your layout – at least round one. Since you won’t have a lot to do now, comparatively speaking, how about coming over and helping me with my layout?

Great post – thank you for sharing!

Alex

Unbelievable layout. This was my first trip to see it in person. MY mouth just fell open. The nicest layout I ever saw. Couldn't ask for anything more. Great layout & great hospitality & great time running trains for several hours. The longest train running time I ever did. Thanks Patrick for the great time. Looking forward to doing it again someday.

John

This was a great night for running trains on a very good layout that ran up and over, around and out with nicely detailed buildings and coal loading facilities that you had to see to get the true view at hand.

Patrick I want to thank you for inviting me over to run my trains on your great layout; the food and drink was good too.  Best of all was the new friends I met that night also.  Just to share the happiness of running trains made the night.

Thanks again,

Phillip

Hi Patrick

This is from Nick C. because his computer has a virus and he can’t get into his computer to email you.  This is also good so he can't send you a virus too.

He stated that he wanted to thank you for the great time he had running his trains on your layout and his son had a great time on your small TV; Ha Ha.

When he gets his computer up and running he can say more.

Sorry I missed what looked like a great time at Patricks as always.    Hopefully Ill be healed for next time

Anyway, Im glad to report that Im now out of the hospital after 11 days. Now I'm parked on a hospital bed in my living room where I must remain for 3 more weeks, keeping my leg elevated 23.5 hrs a day. With 5 weeks minimum after that of NO weight on my leg it should make for a L-O-N-G.... 8 weeks of only reading on the forum.

Glad to see everyone had fun!

Louis, My wife did her second hip replacement 6 weeks ago and she is making good progress but the time can be an issue, I have tried to keep her busy with her PT program and her lap top and iPhone. She likes sports and so we have a lot to choose from right now.

Hope your time will pass quickly for you and that your healing will be complete. Good Luck.

Hope you make it to Patricks soon
