I'm curious about the 1 watt being too low. The price is cheap enough,I paid Lionel $8.40 for a baby fatboy.

I checked out the site, and there are a multitude of speakers in various shapes, watts and ohms.

I have purchased other electrical supplies from this company.  Adding speakers is not something I'm looking to get involved in at this time, but I have read on the forum where others are into adding sound to their projects.

Sound quality would be my main concern with this one. That's in addition to matching the requirements of the sound source. Personally, I would rather pay more for better sound quality. I would stick with the Fatboy (or similar) making sure everything matched up electronically. Of course the only way to really determine sound quality it by actually listening to the complete operational system.
