Out with a friend today and he takes a detour while on our mission. The LIRR FA1 #611 on a siding with two others. What a surprise. There were 3 FA's, some B units, a Canadian B unit and some Erie GPs along with a caboose from April 1919. I found this on the 611.

While we were checking them out, along comes another surprise, two Winchester Western GP 9 pulling, what I believe was a sand train. The Millville area of South Jersey has bben a source of sand for a long time and still is today.

 

I was caught only with my antique phone, so the pics and videos stink.

 

New to me, so I'll return for good pics for my files. My friend didn't know much of how or why they were there, only that he knew I'd like it.
