Any one notice this site no longer features the very large O scale layout being built in a commerical building in Nebraska I believe [DWP] most track work had been done.

I do not understand your post, the layout I was referring to was a 5000 sq ft custom built by Scale Art Models for a private client although no name or address were indicated I assumed from various postings the layout was being built in Nebraska. SAM had a dozen pages on their website for several years documenting the progress of the construction, recently there website has changed completely with no mention of this project with the exception of a Depot they are custom building for this client.

If I am correct this is a layout I was subcontracting to Scott (SAM) for some buildings. The customer for some reason cancelled the job. It's too bad since the layout was beautiful (Scott was doing a great job) and it was about a year from being complete.

I'm also curious as to the final results of that massive layout, which I also remember being located in Nebraska. Wonder if it was ever finished.

Joe, thanks for info that was a huge endevor and it is understandable that the client at some point could be rethinking the project, great write up though by SAM.
I don't have exact info and it may not be related. I bought a bunch of track from that name and I think they said it was from a job that got cancelled??
May not be the layout in question so please, just saying.

I believe most if not all of the track had been put down, the initial reports said some 3000 ft of Atlas track. Its possible there was some left over.
If this project was really cancelled before reaching completion that's sort of sad. Clearly it was going to be someones dream railroad.

hibar , Vas ist loss? is german for what is this, and adonde is Spanish for where. I'm from Omaha but this would not be the first time I've missed something
