It is with great pleasure and pride that John and I present a collaboration months in the making...
Based on the lack of accurate cab components and the concerning feedback of work that has been done, John and I took it upon ourselves to create a Baldwin Sharknose cab interior in as full detail as possible, including lit dashboard gauges.
Without further procrastination, we present the following:
Features:
- Chicago Pneumatic (Utica, NY plant) Speed Recorder with translucent gauge insert with inscribed pointer.
- Round column-type control stand with turret for throttle handle and notch for reverser.
- Table-style independent brake stand.
- Offset doorway.
- Raised seating locations.
- Switch cabinet with Trainphone.
- Electrical cabinet with offset doors & latch detail.
- Engine compartment door detail with rectangle porthole (Round shown because I like them)
- Recessed Gauge cluster of translucent plastic.
- 3mm recess in back of gauge cluster for LED (to light gauges)
- Pre-drilled pilot holes for 2-56 or 2mm screw mounting of gauge cluster, rear wall & switch cabinet.
