Is there a way to tell the difference in the old and new version of these switches?
I found some in a store and we are not sure how old they are.
Item number as found on box is 45-1003.

If they are #4 or #6 turnouts, chances are VERY good that the store is selling new stock that arrived in recent months. Those #'d turnouts were nowhere to be found for a good 18-24 months ANYWHERE you looked. It's a whole different story now though.
