Going to be attending today, Its in Scranton at the former DL&W station headquarters. No better place to be with trains and friends. Tim and Jack are great to deal with and are a example of what LHS's should be

I should get back to this show one of these years. It was a great show, from what I remember
I like shopping in there when I get back to NEPA for the annual kilbasi and beer run. Good folks. I remember my dad taking me there as a kid. They have been around since the 1920s I believe.
I got to share this story, a few months ago a hobby shop locally had a sale, they closed and were selling everything, cases lightbulbs..everything.
I wasn't going to go, but did and picked up a box full of MTH frames and parts...in it were 4 good board sets, a few steam and diesel frames. One possible jewel was a 2-8-8-2 articulated. Everything was there , but the engine shell. It was no were to be found.
fast forward
Today at the show, I glanced at some bins on the floor of one dealer, there it was mixed in a bin of postwar shells, and when I asked the guy were he found it, he said. Oh at a hobby shop that closed recently. paid 20 for the shell...HAZZZA now I just need to order a wireharness and I can begin reassembly.
how many times do we go to shows and come home empty...sometimes we get lucky!
