I am working with a very talented individual who is building me the Dekalb (IL) Coaling Tower for my new Lionel layout.  While I think we have the main structure figured out, I am trying to find some of the "external" parts for him such as pullies, stairs, etc.  I'm attaching a picture of the actual tower (found on the internet)  with some of the specific parts circled.

Is there a "source" for these kinds of items?  I have searched and found some at grandline.com and wisemanmodelservices.com.  Any others I should look into?   I would imagine my next step would be to find someone to 3-D print these if we can't find a suitable match.

dekalb tower I believe we have the lighting covered, but would also welcome any other suggestions to enhance this beauty.

Many thanks!

I scratchbuilt my GTW tower’s rigging in styrene a few years ago. I would definitely 3D print a lot of the gear now and lately I’m  leaning toward getting a laser cutter which I think would be helpful. Here’s an ancient thread that shows what I did to make reasonably ok-looking hardware:

Tichy makes nice chutes and other hardware in HO. You could probably use them as a pattern for O scale:

I used Plastruct ladders and stairs.

Thank you for this information!   Your GTW tower is beautiful!  Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks, The only reason I now work with 3D modeling and printing is that I am old!

I cannot any longer use an Xacto knife skillfully as I once could. no longer accurate with my drill press, bandsaw or table saw.

But I can use a computer mouse and type in numbers for specific dimensions and detail. All of the round holes or rectangular ones I print are exactly placed. My cuts are all straight and aligned, again perfectly so. I can take a picture and with a few dimensions replicate and then print pretty much anything.

3D modeling, printing and laser cutting are my salvation to old age!

I could never make the following by hand.
