Scratch-built KRL 163201 16-axle flatcar
This is a custom built O scale depressed center flatcar modeled after the Kasgro KRL 163201 heavy duty depressed center flatcar. This O scale railcar has 16 axles with a scale length of 142 feet over the couplers. The completed model is 36 inches long over the couplers. The depressed center portion of the model is a scale 32 feet long. The prototype KRL 163201 is a 16 axle railcar that has a load limit of 900,000 pounds. The car uses MTH roller bearing trucks.

This car is one of my favorites.
Just a note:
The depressed center is made from Poplar wood shapes. It is a very sturdy model and would easily support a "scale" load if necessary. The prototype supports a 900,000 pound load. A proportional O 1/48th scale load for this model would be about 9 pounds.
