I just finished scratch building a 2nd caboose from sheet and square styrene mounted over an old Atlas Caboose frame with modern Atlas caboose trucks. This took a lot of hours. I used a copy of the original caboose drawings and photos for sizing. I built this for a friend that actually has this full size caboose at his shop. Also showing the original British Columbia Hydro paint scheme from when these custom cabooses were first created, I built this for my own model railway. They still use these cabooses today on the current Southern Railway of British Columbia. Click on photos for a larger view.
