So is there a search function on OGR?
I think it was on one of my threads - a neat French formula that can be sprayed and looks like chrome plate? Does it hold up to sunlight/moisture?

Bob,
You might want to check this stuff out. It is by far the best looking chrome I have seen next to the real thing.
You can spray it through an airbrush
There are a few spray paint Chrome colors Rust-oleum and Krylon makes them and availible from Amazon.
The search function is at the top of each page under "SEARCH".

I doubt Molotow would stand up to weather by itself but you could put a two part urethane clear coat to protect it and its not supposed to turn dull as most silvers do when clear coated.

Thanks! Molotow was what I was looking for.
My iPad does not display a "search" button.
Sorry. On an iPad, the search in in the menu list at the top left of every page in the blue bar.
I have taken cans of chrome spray paint, drained the air, punched hole in can, drained into bottles then used in airbrush as it's already thinned. It worked great.
Have you ever tried Alclad model paint? It is available at most hobby stores, a bit pricey, but great! I've used it to touch up chipped chrome bumpers on First Gear trucks and after drying, you cannot tell the touched up spot.
I have a $7 bottle of it. I am going to have chrome vinyl stick-ons made.
Bob, Check out the discussion titled "Erie-Built Diesel"..... date of 9-8-18 post by Centralfan1976. There is a link to videos of different chrome paints being compared in tests. I found it very informative and some excellent chrome paints I was not aware of.
