Hello OGR Forum Members,

I am building a new large layout (see attached picture) that will employ Fastrack and Legacy (with LCS) control. I see only a few track signal products by Lionel that appear scale-like and those while nice have limited functionality. My track control ambitions do not include (at least at the moment) full block control across all tracks, but will have on-off siding control, and I only intend one train per loop to be running at a time on those loops.

Can those of you who have employed similar track environment characteristics recommend any brands of signals that i can look into?New Layout

Thanks everyone for considering my inquiry here!

Regards, Ken

Eric’s Trains (YouTube) has some older but excellent videos on setting up the Atlas signal system. He uses Atlas track but it will work with FasTrack using the same principals. Highly recommend looking up and watching those videos.

Nice layout. That is a huge space. Think you will enjoy watching the trains lumber around those sweeping curves. Gives you room to build some grades and view blocks if you desire too.

Hi Ken, Several years ago I bought at auction a number of signals of perfect size for O gauge, I have used some of them on my layout but have quite a few left over. Unfortunately I am on vacation in South Carolina until the end of this week and should be back in New York state buy early next week. If you can wait that long, I can send you pictures of what I have. They have steel masts and solid bases .  They are of the target nature and semaphore type  You can contact me if interested by sending me an email from my Forum profile or wpark301@yahoo.com. Regards Bill
