I'm selling my Buddy L in the classified section. Even if you don't need a set you can see a full range of pictures if you ever wondered about the T-reproductions stuff.

I was asking 3k for the engine, 8 cars, and a full box of track. Does that seam like it's in the wrong market?
Fair enough. I just wanted to avoid putting them back in storage for another 10 years.
I have to agree with Brian. I have been looking at this set since you posted it and looking at my finances. Due to sequestration, I have taken a 27% pay cut, which is my portion of the 2% cut to defense spending. All of my train purchases for this year have been cancelled. It is a beautiful set.
Yeah, that's what I've heard many people saying. It's not such a great time for buying toys. I'm trying to get rid off all my trains that I don't plan on getting out of the box for the next 10 years.
This is kind of a hard sell because it is truely an amazing collection but I can't even see a future where I'd be able to display it, let alone run it like I'd like to.
Looks like it's going on ebay.
After looking with current ebay prices and what the crazy ebay fees are I have dropped the price of this by $900. That makes this a steal and it should go to someone who really wants something amazing. I will still net the same and someone gets a much better deal then going through ebay. My e-mail is in the FS post. As of now this is the largest Buddy L set I have ever seen at 8 cars plus the engine and tender along with a full box of track, an original tow hook so you can pull it like the motorless ones and all the track binding plates.
Honestly the cash is not teh problem. It's the space, I've sat down and realized that I will never be able to run these and now they are just in the way. I guess I'll give it a day and toss them on ebay.
