I visited this museum yesterday for the first time in quite a few years. It is 1/2 an hour from my house. I plan to become involved there in some capacity. This year they will celebrate the centennial of the depots construction.

been to Shafter many times when the KOA was open.

What state are you in. The Shafter I am familiar with is in Naveda, and there is no museum there.

Too bad about that KOA. The one out on I-5 closed too. Must have been the economy.

What a nice job they did on the depot! Ana they have some nice displays, too. Two thumbs up.
