I’ve christened it “ Sherman”, more about that later .

With the forelock bell back up , and the engineer’s cab light replaced , I should never , ( hopefully), never have to “ unshell” it again . Runs, smokes, hisses, clanks , and although somewhat “ bland” in the R.S dept . ( I don’t want to lose the chime whistle). Brought it out for some “ fresh air”.

Loving it , and yes, the wife outdid herself last Christmas .

happy railroading ! 🚂🚂🚂😀😀😀🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸IMG_0518IMG_0519IMG_0520

Addendum : No , I didn’t name it “ Sherman” because of Sherman Hill in Wyoming , although the U.P ran them up and down there.

I named it that for Sherman Pippin , legendary narrow gauge engineer for the ET/WNC narrow gauge , or “ Tweetsie”.  His fireman on a Baldwin 10 wheeler was usually Walter “ Brownie “ Allison .
